I agree. I recently argued in an essay for a friend’s Substack that if the right ceases to operate out of a constrained worldview it ceases to be a meaningful alternative to the progressive left - instead it will offer merely separate collectivist, unconstrained platform which emphasizes national sovereignty rather than social justice.
